Buy too much, get the wrong size, have a problem or just a change of heart? Toole’s Ace Hardware makes returns easy. We accept returns within one year from the original purchase date (some exclusions apply*).

Can’t find your receipt? If you present the method of payment or the Ace Rewards number used we should be able to look up the transaction. If the transaction cannot be found, our policy is to issue a gift card based on the lowest selling price in the last 90 days.

*Exclusions include: 1) Gas-powered equipment (view Gas-Powered Outdoor Equipment Return Policy), Craftsman tools over $150 and generators, which must be taken to an authorized service center; 2) Custom tinted paint and custom cut goods (screen, chain, rope, glass, etc.) cannot be returned.

GAS-POWERED OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT RETURN POLICY

Gas-Powered Outdoor Equipment such as tillers, edgers, mowers, string trimmers, blowers, tractors, generators, chainsaws, snowblowers, as well as all other gas-powered chore equipment may be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase, with original receipt, provided that it is in like-new condition. Such Equipment MAY NOT be returned once gas or oil has been put in it, even if the Equipment has been drained of these materials.
Please note that if your Gas-Powered Outdoor Equipment is defective or is not functioning properly, its service and warranty issues will be handled through the authorized service center. Authorized service center information can be found in the owner’s manual or contact Customer Service at 1-866-290-5334 to obtain location information for service centers. Note that appropriate maintenance and use of your equipment is required to ensure the manufacturer’s specified warranty is not voided.
